Tania Carregha

Tania is a Senior Research Manager for The Young Foundation’s Just Transition and Sustainability team. Her background is in social psychology and design for social innovation. She has a track record of managing and delivering large-scale participatory research and evaluation projects on environmental policies and social justice. Tania’s work centres the voices of people with lived experience of issues, using participatory and design based methods to increase accessibility and enhance participant voice. Tania has experience working with policy and delivery stakeholders at the local, regional and national level to advocate for vulnerable individuals and communities in the transition to net zero.

At The Young Foundation, Tania has led the design and delivery of a range of projects, including on housing retrofit, community engagement in policymaking and the role of anchor institutions in the transition to net zero.
