JUST Practice Builder

Partnerships & Product Manager, B Labs UK

Kyle Soo is a Partnerships & Product Manager at B Lab UK, the home of the B Corp movement, where he works to support purpose-led businesses in promoting social and environmental justice. With a background in law, design, facilitation, and events, Kyle has spent nearly a decade exploring regenerative practice, complex adaptive systems, and participatory approaches to address the interconnected crises of inequality, climate, and economic injustice.

Since his 2017 Year Here fellowship, Kyle has focused on nurturing long-term, caring relationships, supporting organisations to integrate justice, accountability, and sustainability into governance and operations. He is a Design Council Expert advising on green skills and co-design methods, a Lego Serious Play Facilitator, and contributed to Greater Manchester’s Participation Playbook, showcasing participatory democracy tools and creative engagement methods. Through facilitation, storytelling, and creative practice, he helps organisations and communities overcome power imbalances, share experiences, and co-develop solutions.

Kyle is particularly interested in the power of storytelling, participatory design, and creative methods to shift behaviours and elevate unheard voices. He has run Manchester’s PechaKucha Nights, providing platforms for artists, community organisers, and environmental champions to share their work and ideas.

His ethical principles centre on care, empathy, accountability, and interdependence, drawing inspiration from Design Justice, emergent strategy, and co-design principles. He aims to model practical, inclusive approaches that connect people, ideas, and organisations to address systemic inequities.

Through the Practice-Builders’ Network, Kyle hopes to share expertise in movement-building, facilitation, advocacy, and systems thinking, while learning from peers to experiment with new approaches, strengthen collaborations, and translate theory into practical, justice-led, and environmentally regenerative action.
