Jaeim Park is a political theorist and interdisciplinary researcher, with her doctoral thesis titled “Caring Democracy in a Degrowth World: An Ecofeminist-Republican Analysis”. Jaeim’s research expertise spans ecofeminist political economy, republican political theory, and care ethics. Her work bridges feminist political economy with ecological economics and democratic theory, with particular focus on how democratic institutions can support care work within ecological limits.

Jaeim’s research has been published in journals including Constellations and Cogent Social Sciences. Her recent contribution includes a government-funded research project, “Community Energy: Principles, Practices and Policies for a Net Zero Northern Ireland”. She has also contributed to biodiversity impact research for the Office for Environmental Protection, conducting systematic evidence reviews of development pressures on Northern Ireland’s ecosystems.
