Alex Nurse is a Reader in Urban Planning, based in the Department of Geography and Planning, University of Liverpool. His research interests cover city and city-regional governance, English devolution, and urban cycling.
He is the author of Rescaling Urban Governance (Policy Press, 2020) which examined how English sub-national devolution developed since 2010.
